Childhood Ponies. This duo of a chestnut roan pony and a bay mare was commissioned for a 21st birthday present for their female owner, who competed on them both over the years. The pencil remarques illustrate the recipient completing a dressage test on the larger mare and competing cross country on the chestnut roan.
